Meet Joseph

As a Senior Wealth Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Joseph is committed to helping his clients unlock their untapped financial potential by providing objective and independent planning advice. Joseph’s comprehensive planning approach allows his clients to view their finances through a holistic lens, bringing clarification and unification to what is oftentimes segmented advice in regard to their investments, retirement, tax strategies and estate. Through this approach, Joseph aims to provide his clients with a sense of partnership and organization, putting them on the path toward enjoying the lifestyle they envision.

Joseph graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in both finance and economics. While attending the University of Utah, he was also a member of the baseball team, earning both Mountain West Conference and Pac12 Conference honors.

Joseph started his financial planning career in 2013 by obtaining his Series 7 and 66 registrations, and life & health licenses. In 2017, he helped start Advanced Retirement Strategies with a mission and vision of providing his clients with a first-class, comprehensive financial planning experience. He later earned his CFP® certification, demonstrating his commitment to having the skills necessary to put his clients’ interests first.

Joseph currently resides in Salt Lake City with his wife, Kyndal, and son, Bowen. He loves simply spending time with his family and friends and enjoys many activities, including skiing, golf, mountain biking, hiking and learning to cook. Joseph is also an avid sports fan, routinely attending sporting events in support of his alma mater, The University of Utah, and his hometown Utah Jazz.
